Between two sessions at the practice, how do you keep the balance you feel after a massage or an energy treatment? Well-being is not lived only on the treatment table: it is cultivated, day after day, through small and simple gestures. Here are seven habits I often share.

1. Start the day gently

Before reaching for your phone, take a few deep breaths. Three slow inhales are enough to tell the body the day can begin without rush.

2. Drink a large glass of water on waking

After a night’s sleep, the body needs rehydrating. It is also a symbolic gesture: caring for yourself before anything else.

3. Move, even a little

A few stretches, a ten-minute walk, a moment of conscious breathing: movement gets energy flowing again and releases built-up tension.

4. Take real breaks

A break is not wasted time. A few minutes without a screen, breathing or looking out of the window, let the nervous system regulate.

5. Eat mindfully

Slow down, chew, savour. Our relationship with food changes deeply when we give it attention.

6. Go to bed at a regular time

Sleep is the first of treatments. A regular rhythm helps the body recover its natural ability to restore itself.

7. Listen to your signals

Fatigue, tension, irritability: the body speaks. Learning to listen to it is already taking care of yourself — and sometimes treating yourself when the need arises.
